Match Reports Week 9  – Sunday 17 JUNE 2018

Lyndhurt Blue 0.1-1 vs Tooradin-Dalmore 3.6-24

On a very windy afternoon for footy our boy’s and girl’s came to the game with one thing in mind, a win.

With everyone playing their roles it was a pleasure to watch all play with respect and courage in tough circumstances.

We had the ball in our hands for most of the game and goals were kicked by Lenny Goldberg, Bevan Bell and Kasy Deren.

In one the best games I have seen a junior play Kasy was inspirational to all and played like it was his last game. Maybe it had something to do with his dad turning up out of the blue after a massive couple of weeks but what an impact he had. Awesome effort Kasy!

We had standout players all over the park Curtis Watts, Bevan Bell, Kasy Deren, Lenny Goldberg, Jett Lowndes, Summah Boyd, Daniel Martin, and Sebastian Cooke. I could name them all but it was a fantastic win, to give us 2 on the trot.

We all need to turn up to training and really work hard we don’t have long to go now so let’s keep this momentum rolling on to next week.

So proud of all of you keep working hard and enjoy what we have left.

Match Reports Week 8 – Sunday 03 JUNE 2018

Tooradin-Dalmore 4.12-36 vs Nar Nar Goon 1.0-6

An absolute ripper of a game today with the team tasting success for the first time this year and enjoy it they did. The ball was in our forward half for 90% of the game and goals were kicked regularly with Summah Boyd bagging her first major. Every one of us played with intent and pressure for the whole game so proud of this team.

Standout performers were hard to pick but Sebastian Cooke, Kasy Deren, Lenny Goldberg, Curtis Watts, Jack Sherer, Summah Boyd and Bevan Bell all had outstanding games.

With no game this week I urge all to get to training Wednesday night and work hard to continue our development. Great win!

Match Reports Week 5  – Sunday 13 MAY 2018

Fantastic game from our under 11’s today against Narre Warren. All the players came out firing in the first quarter and we were up at quarter time.

We had a lot of stand out players which include BJ Bell, Sebastian Cooke, Jack Sherer, Daniel Martin, Callum Scorah, Brodi Armstrong and Kasy Deren. Today showed us that all the hard work at training is paying off on game day.

A Special mention and a get well soon goes to Brock Ryan, as he broke his arm in the second quarter giving his all for his team mates.

Even though we didn’t win, we are getting closer every week. Keep improving team, a win is not far away.

What can I say the boy’s turned up to play today and play their hearts out they did. It has been a challenging period being in division 2 but again we never gave up and kicked a few goals as well.

Congratulations to Curtis Watts on playing 50 games. We had a banner for all the boy’s to run through before the game and they loved it!
