Tooradin-Dalmore 8.11-59 vs Cranbourne Gold 1.1-7
In our last game for the season, our under 12’s played host to Cranbourne at Rutter Park. With the weather looking ominous we started off the first quarter kicking with the wind. The boys played great team football getting in the packs and fighting hard for the ball to be up 2 goals 4 to 0 at quarter time.
The second quarter showed some excellent ball skills by the boys as the ball was wet and the contest was heating up as both teams only scored 1 goal 1 each heading into the half time break.
In the third quarter our boys turned up the heat and applied fantastic pressure to kick away with a further 4 goals 4 with Cranbourne unable to add to their score.
With the rain pouring down in the final quarter it made for a scrappy end to the game with all players showing their toughness to play it out in style with another 1 goal 2 added to our score and the Seagulls taking home the win 8.11.59 to Cranbourne’ss 1.1.7.
Goal kickers for the game were Josh Iannantuono 3, Aaron Knight 2, and 1 each to Foti Ploudias, Koby Peck and Jack Mannix. Best players were Ashtyn Paku, Aaron Knight, Cooper Simpson, Jack Mannix and Jordan Bury

Pakenham Blue 9.9-63 vs Tooradin-Dalmore 2.3-15
The final game of the 2018 season saw Tooradin Seagulls taking on Pakenham Blue.
With a howling cross breeze the toss was important and our game day captains, Brodie Matthews and Liam Simpson didn’t let us down.
Our first quarters haven’t produced many scores this season but with plenty of midfield clearances from Jesse Craven and Cooper Bassett we were able to attack early. Charlie Shinners provided great run off half back and combined with our wings to keep the ball in the Tooradin half of the ground. Even with the wind scoring was difficult and it took some smart play from Jai Williams to hit the scoreboard for the seagulls. Not to be outdone Jordan Boyd moved from half back to the forward line and was able to snap truly to give Tooradin a 2 goal lead at the end of the quarter.
Pakenham in the second term were full of run and their forwards were able to take advantage of their height and size and put on three unanswered goals. Our backline never dropped their heads and as they’ve done all season, kept the opposition from scoring on multiple occasions.
With 2 players injured and off for the remainder of the game and no bench, the teams was challenged in the second half. Multiple entries into our forward line didn’t produce any goals and against the wind Pakenham was able to score and setup a three quarter time lead that would prove difficult to overcome.
The last quarter was played in even colder & wet conditions than the start of the match but the team continued to fight till the final siren. Brodie Campbell and Tyler Kirkbride finished the season of with great performances, and both Brodie Matthews and Liam Simpson playing their 100th games fought tirelessly all day.
Goals Jai Williams 1, Jordan Boyd 1
The club is proud of the team and its efforts this season and we look forward to seeing them improve further next year.
Thanks to our coaches and support staff for helping guide the boys all season. And massive thank you to our families, getting the boys to training and games each week and their assistance on game days.
Go Seagulls.
Parkmore 21.15-141 vs Tooradin-Dalmore 2.1-13
On Sunday the under 14’s took on Parkmore at their home ground in terrible conditions we had wind, rain and it was absolutely freezing!
We knew going into this game was going to be tough as they are a very strong side. Playing the field with only 15 players due to injuries the boys all tried their hardest and they managed to score 2 goals and a point. They all still showed some good skills and played so well considering the weather condition and 3 men short. We are lucky enough to have another game next week in a final and we all wish the boys the best of luck and hope they all fight and show how much they have improved throughout the season. Good Luck Boys!!
