Tooradin Dalmore vs Nar Nar Goon
What a fantastic effort by the seagulls on Sunday against one of the top teams in our division. It really showed today how much we have improved throughout the season coming up against a tough side. The Seagulls worked hard through the middle applying plenty of tackles and worked well talking to team mates. The Seagulls backline was amazing applying lots of pressure making sure if Nar Nar Goon did score it wasn’t easy. Well done Tooradin you never give up and are always smiling, your sportsmanship shows what a great team and bunch of kids you are!!

On a cold and windy day our boy’s and girl’s put on a fantastic display of teamwork and really took it up to the opposition all day. Our skipper Tommy Rudeforth played his best game of the year but he wasn’t alone with everyone playing their roles but unfortunately we went down by a few goals.

Great goal from Jack Sherer which was a result of some awesome teamwork. A massive thank you to all the U10s who played with us also. We only have 1 game left for our season so let’s all get to training Wednesday night and work on a few things and have some fun before our last game on Sunday.
Thank you again to all our parent helpers without your help we wouldn’t have a game.
Tooradin-Dalmore 10.11-71 vs Berwick North 0.1-1
On a cold windy afternoon at Rutter Park our under 12’s took on 4th placed Berwick North. In a must win game for our team the boys knew what they had to do and took the field with the game plan in mind. Kicking with the wind in the first quarter we played hard strong defensive footy and got on the board with 10 points to 0 going into quarter time. In a tough second quarter both teams only managed 1 point each. After the half time break the boys hit the ground running and played great team football adding 5 goals 4 to our score and our boys in defence played their role keeping Berwick North scoreless. In the final quarter we showed what we are capable of and kicked another 4 goals 2 into the wind giving us a final score of 10.11.71 to Berwick North 0.1.1 taking home the win !
We were so proud of how the team played working together to achieve what they set out to do at the start of the game.

Beaconsfield Blue 6.9-45 vs Tooradin-Dalmore 4.9-33
On Sunday the U13 Seagulls travelled to Holm Park to play Beaconsfield Blue. After winning the toss and kicking with the wind we had the majority of the ball in our half for the quarter. We had 8 scoring shots but could only manage 2 goals. The second quarter saw our backline busy with Beaconsfield attacking from the centre clearances on multiple occasions. The backs were able to keep them to only 2 goals and at half time there was 1 point the difference.
Again the third quarter was a challenge for the team. Whilst we kicked two goals from our forward entries we let Beaconsfield score into the wind and set themselves up for the final term. The ¾ time margin proved too much to overcome and Beaconsfield kicked clear to win by 12 points.
Goals Anthony Mirauta 2, Joshua Shipton 1, Charlie Shinners 1.
