Under 8’s
Nar Nar Goon and Narre South Lions
This week we played Nar Nar Goon and Narre Warren at Casey Fields for Little Demons Day. It was a great first week with a great team effort with the kids winning both games. Fantastic first games from Java Lauterboom, Chad Stevens and Ryder Langley. Thanks for putting on such a great couple of games. Coach is excited for next round.
Under 9’s

Sunday was the first round of the new season our under 9s played Nar Nar Goon first up on Little Demons Day in a hard game, with Nar Nar Goon taking out the match.
With an outstanding effort from Luke Iannantuono 1 goal, Blake Mackrell 1 goal and Beau Fazzino 1 point.
Next up we took on Berwick North in a very competitive game and the boys came back with a win.
A huge shout out to Connor Schreurs 1 goal and 3 points, Jai Kennedy 1 goal and 1 point, Luke Iannantuono 2 goal and 3 points and Beau Fazzino 1 goal.
Fantastic effort boys! Go Seagulls
Under 10’s
Endeavour Hills and Narre North Foxes Grey
What a fantastic start to the 2019 season for the Tooradin Seagulls Under 10’s at Little Demons Day. The Seagulls team work was fantastic with some great connecting handball and kicks to teammates. They laid heaps of strong tackles and gave 110% at every contest.
Came away with one win and one loss, not too bad for a day’s work!
The kids were so excited about putting back on their guernseys and their clean skills proved how hard they have been working in the off season.
It was also great to see a couple of the normally quiet ones having a real crack! Well done everyone! Bring on round 1.
Goals 2 Charlie Burgess, 1 Dylan Kraskov, Cooper Webb, Kane Angleton, Tom Sherer and Declan Whittley.
Under 11’s Berwick North vs Tooradin-Dalmore

Under 12’s Cranbourne Gold vs Tooradin-Dalmore
Cranbourne Gold 2 4 16
Tooradin-Dalmore 5 9 39
What a great game we witnessed by our Under 12s boys and girl. Each player put in effort after effort to win against Cranbourne Gold. We knew from last year that they were going to be a hard competition to play against and on Sunday we proved that we can play and that we will never give up to come home with a great win.
Credit to Cranbourne for never giving up as they fought back in the third quarter. Every single player put in a lot of effort to get a win so they all should be very proud of the game they all played.
Outstanding today were Jack Sherer, Lenny Goldberg and Kasy Deren. Two of the new players to our team, Rawson Vandborg and Chase Mackrell were also outstanding.
Goal kickers were Jack Sherer 2, Lenny Goldberg, Callum Scorah and Brendan Vandborg 1 goal each. Go Seagulls!
Under 13’s Narre South Lions vs Tooradin-Dalmore
Narre South Lions Navy 9 12 66
Tooradin-Dalmore 0 4 4
It was a windy 25 degrees on Sunday and our boys went out positive and tried hard against Narre South Lions. Tooradin were very dominant in the first quarter and managed three behinds with the wind to Narre South’s two goals.
Second quarter, again we controlled the game keeping them to one goal with the wind, in the second half the boys never stopped trying, unfortunately going down by 62 points in the end. Great first game in Division 2 for the boys.
Best players were Jack Mannix, Harry Hardy, Ashtyn Paku, Koby Peck, Jakob Martin & Jordan Bury.
Some great tackles laid today, Harry had a fantastic game, some things to work on as a team out of the game, but it was a good team effort.
Under 14’s Berwick White vs Tooradin-Dalmore
Berwick White 11 9 75
Tooradin-Dalmore 1 4 10
Tooradin travelled to Arch Brown Reserve on Sunday to take on Berwick White.
With a few new faces making their debut and preseason training long forgotten, the boys were excited to be back playing.
Berwick White started fast and had early goals before Tooradin had their first shot on goal. By half time Berwick had opened up a sizeable lead but to their credit the team continued to compete and the backline stopped multiple shots on goal.
The team continued to fight hard during the third term and had multiple attempts on goal for no reward. Berwick continued to send the ball into their 50 on numerous occasions but good teamwork kept their scoring to only a couple of goals. With a never give up attitude, a free was awarded on the wing and when a 25m penalty was awarded, the ball was kicked quickly into the forwarded line by Cooper Bassett where Brody Campbell marked strongly in front and went back and kicked the goal. It was a great reward for the team who gave it their all throughout the day.
