Hampton Park vs Tooradin-Dalmore

A very close game today only a point in it saw both teams have to work hard all over the ground. Noah Baker and Nate Cuthbertson tackled like the professionals, Owen Birch rovered like a true champion and was seen numerous times on the bottom of the pack. Great team work by the seagulls today with plenty of handballs and kicks hitting the chests of teammates. Great job guys we are all so proud of you.

Bests: Jack Alexander, Tom Sherer, Owen Birch, Cooper Webb and Kane Angleton

Goals: Annie Holloway, Charlie Burgess, Tom Sherer, Kane Angleton.

Today our boys took on Hampton Park at their home ground. In the best team game we have played so far, we looked for each other with hand and foot and that showed on the scoreboard. Seagulls 11.9.75 to Hampton Park 0.1.1

Tooradin-Dalmore 2.2-14 Vs Berwick White 12.5-77

What can I say the boy’s turned up to play today and play their hearts out they did. It has been a challenging period being in division 2 but again we never gave up and kicked a few goals as well.

Congratulations to Curtis Watts on playing 50 games. We had a banner for all the boy’s to run through before the game and they loved it!

Fantastic achievement Curtis!

We had some standout game’s from Riley Fengler, Curtis Watts, Bevan Bell, Kasy Deren, Lenny Goldberg and Brock Ryan in the middle with great support from Kade Howes, Brodi Armstrong and Cody Ray in defense. It was really pleasing to see everyone have a red hot crack today and all the boy’s playing in their positions and doing everything asked of them. Great stuff boys

Once again I would like to thank all our volunteers for your help without any of you our games would not be possible thank you all.

Lyndhurst 2.2-14 vs Tooradin-Dalmore 8.11-59

On a beautiful Sunday morning our under 12’s headed to Marriott Waters to take on Lyndhurst in the round 3 clash. Lyndhurst got on the board with an early first goal but our boys gathered and produced some amazing team plays and kicked the next 2 to go into the quarter time break with the lead. We came out even stronger in the next two quarters kicking 5 goals and kept Lyndhurst scoreless. With an amazing mark by Aaron Knight, excellent team plays by all our boys and some awesome tackles by Cooper Simpson we took home the win. While all our boys had an awesome game our best players were Jordan Bury, Aaron Knight, Cooper Simpson, Mason Dicks, Ashtyn Paku, Koby Peck, Josh Iannantuono, Jesse Sumner, Harry Hardy and Hunter Cairns.

Goals: Cooper Simpson 3, Jordan Bury 2, and one a piece to Harry Hardy, Aaron Knight and Jesse Sumner.

Tooradin-Dalmore 4.5-29 vs Lyndhurst 11.19-85

Today the under 14’s took on Lyndhurst at home the sun was shining and we were hoping to get a win on the board. Unfortunately this wasn’t going to happen. We came out with Bailey Ray getting the 1st goal on the board. The boys played a good 1st quarter and then let themselves go for the rest of the game letting Lyndhurst run free and couldn’t catch them they were quick but our boys just couldn’t chase or nail strong tackles. It’s disappointing for them as they are a better team than this so a few hard training sessions this week to hopefully get a win next week and get the boys confidence back up.

Goal Kickers – Bailey Ray 2 and Tyler Evans 2

Best players – Charlie Hobson, Charlie Ogier, Brock Marshal, Bailey Ray and Kye De Little.

Fountain Gate White 13.11-89 vs Tooradin-Dalmore 4.6-30

The first quarter was very much an even playing field with both sides showing some great tackling and marks, with both teams kicking a goal in each in the opening term.

The second quarter Tooradin showed some great ability and they took charge kicking 3 goals 3 keeping the boys from Fountain Gate on their toes.

Unfortunately after half time Fountain gate exerted strength and kicked away to take the win.

Our goal kickers for the day kicking 1 goal each were

Austin Hernaut, Cian O’Riordan, Robbie Loudon and Luke Townsend.
